Art is not so much something I do, yet more who I am.  There have been seasons that I don't sit at the "easel" for weeks, but the ideas and inspirations still swirl around in my head.  They eventually manifest on paper, canvas, or writing.  There are a few complex inspirations that are still swirling within me; waiting.  They may come out as "writings" rather than images.  You just never know, it's all quite exciting.

Personally, I am quite a collage of interests and abilities.  I have traveled all over the world and have gone to live in several of those places.  My travels and adventures have been much of what inspires my works.  However my Faith is the most inspiring facet of my life.  Life brings to us both beautiful blessings and sometimes growth provoking challenges.  One of my own challenges affected every facet of my life. My art, work, perspective and even my personality shifted.  Yet this most powerful event catalpulted me toward becoming the woman I am today.

I am 40 years old and live happily with a really big cat named Aslan.  I am a full time college student (I am a much better student at 40 than I ever was at 20).  I keep myself busy with activities within my community and local church.  On any relaxing weekend you'll find me visiting the zoo, or my local 2nd Saturday Art Walk or Museums.

Remember, things are always changing at Liberty Art Studios, so keep checking in for new "works".  Coming soon: a collection of poetry, and excerpts from a couple of the books that I am working on.

Everyone be blessed.  Happy Everyday!!!
